Chapter 1

Daniel the wolf had a nose for baking. Daniel the wolf loved dough. He had very big, fluffy paws. He pressed the dough deep. He mixed it fast. But splat! Flour flew everywhere. Daniel looked like a powdered donut.
Chapter 2

Daniel trotted to the village. The air smelled of cinnamon. "Please teach me your recipes!" Daniel asked. Clatter-bang! The bakers slammed their shutters. "A wolf!" they cried. "Go away, you big puff of fur!"
Chapter 3

Daniel went home. He tried to guess the recipe. He added too much salt. He added too much water. Clink! The bread came out hard as a rock. Daniel tried to eat it. Ouch! His tooth hurt.
Chapter 4

Daniel crept back to the village. He peeked through a bakery window. He saw a secret book. But his nose touched a flour bag. Sniff, sniff, sniff… His nose tickled. His whiskers twitched.
Chapter 5

"ACHOO!" A giant cloud of flour exploded. White powder flew over the street. It covered the bakers. It covered the Three Pigs. Everyone looked like a white ghost! The bakers looked at the pigs. The pigs looked at the bakers. Then, everyone started to giggle. "Look at your noses!" they laughed.
Chapter 6

The Three Pigs stepped forward. They found a loaf Daniel had brought. "Mmm!" said the first pig. "It is light and airy!" said the second. "Your big paws make the best puff bread!" said the third. The bakers smiled. "We need those strong paws!" they cheered.
Chapter 7

Now, the village has a new shop. It is the Sun and Paw Bakery. Squish, squash, roll it round! Daniel mixes the giant bowls of dough. A large, floury paw and a small pink trotter rest side-by-side on a golden, steaming loaf.
