A Wall Around the Garden

Once upon a time, a grumpy giant named Grumble built a tall wall around his magical garden. He didn’t want anyone to play there. The wall was so high that not even the sun could peek over it. Grumble thought, 'If I keep the children out, I can keep my garden all to myself!'

But inside the garden, it was always winter. The flowers were frozen, and the trees stood still. One day, a brave little girl named Lily spotted a crack in the wall. 'Maybe I can sneak in!' she exclaimed. She squeezed through the crack and gasped at the sight of the chilly garden. 'It looks sad here!' she said, shivering.

Spring Comes to the Garden

Lily danced around the garden, her laughter echoing. 'Hello, Mr. Giant!' she called. Grumble frowned. 'Why are you here?' he grumbled. 'I want to see the flowers bloom!' Lily replied with a smile. 'You should join me!'

Grumble sighed, but Lily's joy was contagious. Slowly, he stepped outside his wall. Suddenly, the sun peeked through the clouds! The garden started to warm up, and flowers began to bloom. 'Look, it's spring!' Lily cheered. 'Let’s share your garden with everyone!' Grumble smiled for the first time. 'Maybe I can share,' he said. And from that day on, children played in the garden, filling it with laughter.
