Brave Momotaro and His Friends
A brave child was born from a giant floating peach.
The old woodcutter named the little child Momotaro.
He took his spotted red pup along the grassy trail.
Soon, they met a bright pheasant fluttering in the tall grass.
Next, a quick monkey swung down to join their little walk.
The four companions linked hands and marched forward together.
They walked past the dark woods without stopping or feeling afraid.
Together, they stepped out into the warm, bright morning sun.
